On June, 1, we had a very insightful event on the challenges in the development of ICT solutions in compliance with GDPR. The session took place virtually at the NTT DATA Living Lab. the innovation and co-creation centre of everis, a Consortium member of PANELFIT. Carme Zaragoza and Francesc Hinojosa acted as hosts of the event, together with PANELFIT’s coordinator Iñigo de Miguel, who presented the basic pillars of the project. The 5 speakers who participated in the first part of the event covered different areas in which digital privacy regulations were closely linked to technological initiatives:
- Lukas Grimfors, CSO Huawei (Sweden)
- Ricardo Vitorino, Smart Cities R&I Manager Ubiwhere (Portugal)
- Mirko Ross, CEO Digital Worx (Germany)
- Alfonso Soteras, Director al everis NTT DATA (Spain)
- Michele Nati, Head of Telco and ID IOTA Foundation (Germany)
The second part of the event was dinamized by innCub3, the everis innovation school, to gather feedback from the participants on the implementation of data privacy regulation.
The virtual event ended with the hope that at the next PANELFIT activity the participants could already be welcomed in person alt the NTT DATA Living Lab headquarters in Barcelona.
