This course is offered within the framework of the H2020 PANELFIT Project by the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU.
The specific objective of this course is to train researchers on ethical and legal issues related to the protection of personal data In ICT´s framework, in accordance with the new European Data Protection Regulation and complementary regulations.
The PANELFIT team will share with the researchers the knowledge acquired during almost three years of the project on the particularities of data protection in the context of ICT scientific research. The findings of our Fellow project SHERPA will also be shared in order to provide tools for conducting research that respects individual privacy without being an obstacle – quite the opposite, in fact.
