Convention 108+ and digital rights

Sophie Kwasny, Head of the Data Protection Unit at the Council of Europe, will talk about the Convention for the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (Convention 108), approved in 1981 and revamped in 2018, the same year GDPR came into force.

We’ll also touch upon current issues such as transborder data flows and facial recognition.
