The evolution of the technological landscape is changing our world at an unprecedented pace. New digital means are providing opportunities for people that few years ago would have been considered unthinkable. Such an evolution has deep consequences on the society and on the work of national leaders and policymakers.
The closing Dissemination Event of the PANELFIT project was a two-day event that took place in Brussels, both under the topic Anticipatory Compliance.
The first day, 30 March (9.30 – 11.30 CET, fully online) introduced European leaders and policymakers to this new approach to compliance, that helped them to anticipate the changes in the scenario and adapt their approach accordingly. The panel of experts presented different views and different takes on the topic of “Anticipatory compliance” for the benefit mainly of MEPs. This event, initially conceived as in-person, had to be delievered fully online due to the policy related to Covid-19 at the time at the EU Parliament.

The second day, 31 March (9.00 – 12.30 CET, hybrid), took the form of a hybrid conference, where another panel of experts convened to dive deeper into such concept, and opened the discussion up to interested stakeholders from institutions, private sector, and academia.
